Course Overview:
This course is taught by an NRA certified instructor and former Federal Law Enforcement Use of Force and Firearms instructor who has taught at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) with over 25 years of real-world law enforcement experience, and who has experience in use of force encounters.
This course is designed to meet the current state of Arizona requirements for those wanting to apply for an Arizona concealed carry weapons permit. This interactive course will include an overview of the laws and regulations surrounding the carriage of concealed firearms, liabilities, conflict avoidance, use of force, contact with law enforcement authorities, equipment selection, firearms safety, proper handling, and the proper storage of firearms.
There is ample opportunity in the classroom and range to achieve the desired practical knowledge in this casual, stress-free, and fun learning environment. You’ll find this course to be informative and beneficial in the responsibilities as a legally armed citizen.

Course Outline:
· Arizona concealed carry weapon (CCW) application process (reference material provided);
· Overview of the universal firearms safety rules, storage, and security;
· Revolver/Pistol options and features;
· Benefits of possessing an Arizona concealed carry weapons (CCW) permit;
· Arizona laws and regulations regarding CCW permit holders;
· Reciprocity and traveling to other states with everyday carry (EDC) weapon;
· Liabilities associated with the carriage of firearms (liability presentation is available);
· Understanding firearms restriction signs and consequences;
· Conflict avoidance, use of force and aftermath;
· Conditions of situational awareness, preparedness, and training (reference material provided);
· Arizona Revised Statute 13-404, Justification; Self-Defense;
· Arizona Revised Statute 13-405, Justification; Use of Deadly Physical Force;
· Arizona Revised Statute 13-409, Justification; Defense of a Third Person;
· Contact with law enforcement;
· EDC equipment selection and options; holsters, lights, first aid, universal tools, lifesaving
equipment and accessories (reference material provided)
· Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid state ID or U.S. Government issued ID (Passport or
