This Leo Development Group exclusive course was designed for the couple in mind which includes many of the popular training features in our Basic CCW 3.5, Basic CCW 5.0 and Personal Firearms Training courses, and meets the current state of Arizona requirements for those wanting to apply for an Arizona concealed carry weapons permit.

Course Overview:
This course is taught by an NRA certified instructor and former Federal Law Enforcement Use of Force and Firearms instructor who has taught at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) with over 25 years of real-world law enforcement experience, and who has experience in use of force encounters.
The content covered in this course is designed to provide the couple with the understanding and knowledge regarding concepts of mindset, mental conditioning, conflict avoidance, self-protection, everyday carry equipment selection, use of force options, contact with law enforcement, the carriage of concealed carry firearms, and associated legalities.
There is ample opportunity in this course for the couple seeking to develop, strengthen, and improve their practical knowledge in this casual, stress-free, and fun learning environment. You’ll find this course to be informative and beneficial regarding the responsibilities as a legally armed citizen.
The course duration is approximately 4 hours, with a majority spent participating in live-fire marksmanship training sessions and defensive concepts. For additional information concerning this course please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Course Outline:
· Overview of the universal firearms safety rules, storage, and security.
· Basic marksmanship fundamentals overview.
· Arizona laws and regulations surrounding the carriage of concealed firearms.
· Conditions of situational awareness, preparedness, mindset and training.
· Concealed carry options and equipment selection (holster, light, first aid, universal tools, etc.).
· CCW Reciprocity and traveling to other states.
· Arizona Revised Statues regarding Justification; for Deadly Physical Force, Self-defense, and
Defense of a Third Person.
· Liabilities associated with the carriage of firearms.
· Conflict avoidance, use of force options and aftermath.
· Contact with law enforcement.
Required Equipment:
· Full size, carry, compact, micro semi-automatic pistol or revolver. (Iron sight or Micro Optic
equipped)
-- Students can rent a semi-auto pistol at location if rental firearms are available.
· Hearing protection (passive or electronic).
· Eye protection—wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses.
· At least 2 pistol magazines or revolver speed loaders.
· Casual, comfortable clothing suitable for training in any weather.
· Closed toe shoes, footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning.
· A minimum of 250 rounds of approved range ammunition.
· Note pad and pen/pencil.
· Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid state ID or U.S. Government issued ID (Passport or

·Only active military personnel can apply for a CCW if under 21 years of age. (Please refer to the
AZDPS website for details).
Course Occupancy Notification:

Courses are non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled course time.
